These are two country music singers from Australia, so if you do not like country or have no sense of humor, they will not be your cup of tea. I want to share them, as the songs they sing make me giggle, and make me /awww cause both their voices are amazing!!

I was sitting here thinking about how many people miss out on good music from other countries. I personally watch foreign films and have a stock pile of my favorites but do not listen to music from other countries. I also do not care for "country" music...so for me to like these two, it is very off-the-wall. The songs they sing are funny and full of life to me, great sounds and just look like a blast to see in concert... Anyone else have a great "non-USA" song or film I need to check out??
I have never been a movie watcher, then I found foreign films which do not play out as hollywood films do. My favorite has been "My life as a dog" It is a basic drama but much different than most of the US films. I actually, kept my old eyes awake for the entire film.
Life in Iowa means you need to have good cable, netflix and youtube..LOL. I am always on the look out for new music and movies..my old fave movie was "Girl With a Dragon Tattoo"..Hollywood remade it, and I was sure they would mess it up, but it looks like good reviews. Anyone taken the time to see it?

Day 2 of posts../woot
A little background, I moved to this glorious arm-pit 2 years ago, from the Great State of Texas. Wow what a culture shock! No Planes, Trains or Automobiles...okay yes autos, but no taxis! The good, it is 21 degrees today but it feels like 10...yummy!
The other good, is old fashioned butchers at the store, I remember them as a kid and now can remember them as an adult. My favorite steak has always been a Rib-Eye. ...I hit a gold mine, the butcher shop has 4 chuck-eye steaks a week, and I normally buy all 4. They taste like Rib-Eye if you cook them slowly. The butcher said, "You are the only person who buys these steaks, are they good?" I said, "Half the price of a Rib-Eye and if you cook them slow and right, they taste like a Rib-Eye."....
Needless to say, I never get them anymore, the darn Butcher buys them!! So much for being Mrs. Nice guy!! Have you ever shared a special secret and then kicked-your-buns for it?? I know I have the past two weeks!! If you have a special secret that I need to know, please share! I live in a town of 2k people so I am sure I will not hawk your secret!!
Well, I am off to buy a charcoal or flat-iron steak for tonight:(( Sure wish I would have kept my mouth shut about my chuck-eye steaks!!

Rand Paul vs the TSA
I finally read all the posts/news stories etc concerning Rand Paul being held up by the TSA..REALLY?? He held himself up. I have had 4 body-pats from false alarms....alarm goes off they take you in a windowed room (normally) and they pat you down.... Rand Paul chose to NOT allow the pat-down....why???
I have always needed to get on my plane, and knowing the alarm was false, I gladly spread my arms and legs and let them pat away!! Anyhow, why do our elected officials think they are above us, the common citizens?? I have to follow the rules, and I do it with a smirk on my face, or a smile, depends on my PMS...but really, this is the news for this week?
